PISCINE DU MOSQ (B)
This pool was built in 1937 for a large industrialist and was reserved for the staff of his company. A few years later it opened for the public. During the ‘90’s it was sold to a university and in 1996 it was threatened with closure because it wasn’t up to regulations anymore. Eventually it closed in 1998. Only the theater on the second floor was open till 2004 and was used by a university. In 2005 the building was sold and was about to be transformed to a mosque, but the works stopped. Entering the building was very easy, open doors and no security whatsoever. It already suffered a lot of vandalism and it looks like many people use it to throw their rubbish, but it still has some nice parts. (March 2017)
